Merlene Laughin - 01/08/2015 I had a dream that was the most exciting. In it were about 10 or 12 in our local body and I believe these were all men who were sent out two-by-two. (12 would fit the pattern of the Man-child Jesus sending out the 12 disciples in training, calling them apostles, meaning, "one sent forth". {Mat.10: 1} And he called unto him his twelve disciples, and gave them authority over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of disease and all manner of sickness. {2} Now the names of the twelve apostles are these: The first, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother; {3} Philip, and Bartholomew; Thomas, and Matthew the publican; James the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus; {4} Simon the Cananaean, and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed him. {5} These twelve Jesus sent forth, and charged them, saying, Go not into any way of the Gentiles, and enter not into any city of the Samaritans: {6} but go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. They were to offer this new Covenant to the old Covenant believers first. Jesus sent them to raise up those who had a covenant, so that they later could reach out to the larger body of unbelievers. So it will be in our day.) {7} And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. {8} Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons: freely ye received, freely give. {9} Get you no gold, nor silver, nor brass in your purses; {10} no wallet for your journey, neither two coats, nor shoes, nor staff: for the laborer is worthy of his food. {11} And into whatsoever city or village ye shall enter, search out who in it is worthy; and there abide till ye go forth. It was these two witnesses who went forth to raise up local Church bodies and ordain elders to the rest of the five-fold ministry. They raised up body ministries, as in 1 Corinthians 12 and 14. I felt that the women were there but doing things in other capacities (to support the work and the families) that I couldn't see. The only one I recognized and had conversation with was Tim Conway. The others were busy working. It seemed that not a moment was wasted. All of the shell of the building was up. I'm not sure if we were in new construction or if the inside was being renovated. (Building the tabernacle.) But the smell of freshly cut wood was present and I breathed in deeply. It seemed tables (serving) and benches (resting) were also being made. (The job of the builders is to build God's tabernacle in the wilderness tribulation, which is His Church or "called out ones". {Act.15:16} After these things I will return, And I will build again the tabernacle of David, which is fallen; And I will build again the ruins thereof, And I will set it up: {17} That the residue of men may seek after the Lord, And all the Gentiles, upon whom my name is called, {18} Saith the Lord, who maketh these things known from of old.) Tim and I were standing under a peak. (The Lord is our covering.) He had on his work clothes, tool belt and work boots. As we talked, he held onto a small piece of wood, 2x4x24 in his right hand. {1Co.3:9} For we are God's fellow workers: ye are God's husbandry, God's building. He brought me up to date on who was where. People from among us had been sent walking out two-by-two. {Mar.6:7} And he called unto Him the twelve, and began to send them forth by two and two.... (I.e., the corporate body of Two Witnesses will be sent forth by the Man-child, as is the pattern.) We knew our area that we had been sent to and some were farther away than others, sharing the good news, along with healing and deliverance. I asked excitedly about different couples -- if he could, would he tell me about ones who were seen on the road. Some were married couples and others were two-by-two. He told me about a couple but I didn't hear their names because they were muffled. We all had prayed for their son for many years. He surprised us and came in and related his story of coming to the Lord. They tearfully introduced him to others. {Act.16:31} And they said, believe on the Lord Jesus and thou shalt be saved, thou and thy house. {Mar.11:24} There I say unto you, all things whatsoever ye pray and ask for, believe that ye received them, and ye shall have them. When I asked about the couple, again the names were muffled. He said that word was sent back that they were thinking of quitting. They were going to go on their own and slow down a bit. {Heb.10:38} But my righteous one shall live by faith: and if he shrink back, my soul hath no pleasure in him. {39} we are not of them that shrink back unto perdition but of them them that have faith unto the saving of the soul. I had wondered about one of the two from previous times and their actions. In the dream, I couldn't really know for sure because their bodies and faces had a fuzzy outline. People, new people from other places, were coming in. Some came in the door to the right as we were speaking. They were so thankful to find us. They were welcomed warmly and soon began to help as work continued. Some had a small bag and others had nothing but the clothes they wore. (The Lord told us He would supply them all.) But they were happy and full of Jesus. Those coming off the trail were anxiously waiting to tell of their experiences. The Lord had done things through them, as in the 70 who had been sent out in Jesus' time. {Luk.10:1} Now after these things the Lord appointed seventy others, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself was about to come. {2} And he said unto them, The harvest indeed is plenteous, but the laborers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he send forth laborers into his harvest. {3} Go your ways; behold, I send you forth as lambs in the midst of wolves. {4} Carry no purse, no wallet, no shoes; and salute no man on the way. {5} And into whatsoever house ye shall enter, first say, Peace [be] to this house. {6} And if a son of peace be there, your peace shall rest upon him: but if not, it shall turn to you again. {7} And in that same house remain, eating and drinking such things as they give: for the laborer is worthy of his hire. Go not from house to house. {8} And into whatsoever city ye enter, and they receive you, eat such things as are set before you: {9} and heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you. {10} But into whatsoever city ye shall enter, and they receive you not, go out into the streets thereof and say, {11} Even the dust from your city, that cleaveth to our feet, we wipe off against you: nevertheless know this, that the kingdom of God is come nigh ... {16} He that heareth you heareth me; and he that rejecteth you rejecteth me; and he that rejecteth me rejecteth him that sent me. {17} And the seventy returned with joy, saying, Lord, even the demons are subject unto us in thy name. {18} And he said unto them, I beheld Satan fallen as lightning from heaven. {19} Behold, I have given you authority to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall in any wise hurt you. {20} Nevertheless in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.
