The Word Healed My Hemorrhoids

Soon, some of us standing alive on the earth right now will say, "No more death, no more sting of death". Today, I say, "No more bleeding, no more irritation", for I have seen and now bear witness that the Son of God IS come to live in my body! Every day for the past 10 years, I lived with hemorrhoidal bleeding, for I had a deluded concept of what it meant to walk by faith. I had believed and taught that faith is measured by how much trouble you are allowed to go through and still love God all the more. What a delusion that was! I refused to go to doctors or apply drugs, but I did turn to other "saviors" -- so-called "natural solutions" and "nutritional supplements" which were supposed to help, but only hindered. Before the end, God's people in this time will learn that God never chose to save us or heal us with anything we see with our eyes, for it is written: (1Co.1:28) God chose the base things of the world, and the things that are despised, yea and the things that are not, that he might bring to nought (nothing) the things that are.

For eight of those 10 problem-years, I did not believe divine healing had anything to do with faith or lack thereof. Yet, in my ignorance, God had mercy on me and sent me to Unleavened Bread Ministries to get the truth I needed to be set free! Jesus said, "And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free!" If the truth you have is not setting you free, you do not have the truth because the truth WILL set you free! Today, I have learned the truth that healing, provision, protection, perfection and more are our rights in the body of Christ Jesus! If we are His body, then we certainly have all of these without working or paying for them. Jesus was only a carpenter for so long before His Father began to meet all of His needs out of heaven while He devoted all of His time to the kingdom work He was sent to do.

Through UBM, I have received a foundation to build upon so that God Himself might teach me these things and believe and receive, but for nearly two years since first changing my mind about divine healing and other topics, I walked in and out of double-mindedness. I often went astray to search the Internet for more non-medical solutions I might learn about to apply to my problem, thinking these were certainly better than drugs. But faith is not faith if it relies on what is seen to bring to nothing what is seen. The night of March 9th, I sat at my computer after sharing a prophetic dream I had and I felt the usual daily irritation of my hemorrhoids. As I sat still, my thoughts flashed to Elijah on foot outrunning Ahab on horse all the way from the danger of the approaching storm to safety!

(1Ki.18:41) Now Elijah said to Ahab, "Go up, eat and drink; for there is the sound of the roar of a heavy shower". (42) So Ahab went up to eat and drink. But Elijah went up to the top of Carmel; and he crouched down on the earth and put his face between his knees. (43) He said to his servant, "Go up now, look toward the sea". So he went up and looked and said, "There is nothing". And he said, "Go back" seven times. (44) It came about at the seventh time, that he said, "Behold, a cloud as small as a man's hand is coming up from the sea". And he said, "Go up, say to Ahab, 'Prepare your chariot and go down, so that the heavy shower does not stop you'". (45)In a little while the sky grew black with clouds and wind, and there was a heavy shower. And Ahab rode and went to Jezreel. (46)Then the hand of the LORD was on Elijah, and he girded up his loins and outran Ahab to Jezreel.

Ahab was on horse and got a head-start; Elijah was on foot! Verse 46 would not be possible, except by GRACE (the favor you didn't work for or pay for) through FAITH (being firmly convinced that what you do not see, you already have)! As I thought on this vision of Elijah on foot outrunning Ahab on horse and applied it to my situation, the irritation immediately stopped! Today, I am healed by the Word of God.

Glory to God, not to man -- and certainly not to me!
