The Holy Spirit Will Choose the Bride

Eve Brast - 04/16/2012
(David's notes in red)

I had a dream this morning that I was in the "House of the Women" and they were all huddled around many pieces of gold jewelry inlaid with large precious and semi-precious stones. They were all excited and talking amongst themselves as they were trying on the different pieces to decide which ones they would choose to wear when they went to go before the King. (1Pe.3:3) Whose [adorning] let it not be the outward adorning of braiding the hair, and of wearing jewels of gold, or of putting apparel; (4) but [let it be] the hidden man of the heart, in the incorruptible [apparel] of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.

I was standing off to the right of them (where Jesus put the true sheep), feeling a little overwhelmed at the prospect of having to make a decision as to what to choose to go before the King. I didn't like the jewelry because it looked heavy and gaudy, and I would feel uncomfortable wearing it.

My son Elijah (meaning "Yah is God") was the King's eunuch, Hegai (representing the Holy Spirit), in this dream, and was in charge of us all in this House of the Women. He was dressed in the clothes that his grandmother (my mother) had bought him to go to my grandmother's funeral service that we had for her on Friday, April 13th. (She had passed away on Resurrection Day, Sunday, April 8th at 8:33 p.m. I'm including this because I feel that there is spiritual significance to the day and time of her passing.)

Elijah came over to me and, seeing my concern, comforted me as he asked, "And what is it you would choose to go before the King?" I said to him, "As always, I defer to your wisdom and your judgment". {Est.2:15} Now when the turn of Esther ... to go in unto the king, she required nothing but what Hegai the king's chamberlain, the keeper of the women, appointed. So he went over to a Bible and opened to Proverbs 5. He cut it out and handed it to me. "This is what you will need to go before the King", he said. I was relieved and happy that I had what I needed and that I didn't have to try to choose something for myself, having been fearful of making the wrong choice. So I took Proverbs 5 with me and left the House of the Women the go to the King's House. Then I woke up.

When I read Proverbs 5, it was an admonition to love wisdom and instruction, and a call to sanctification from worldly lusts and "strange" women. ("Strange" here is from a primitive root meaning "to turn aside". (Pro.5:8) ... And come not nigh the door of her house. So this chapter also contrasts the House of the Women with the house of the harlot.) (7) Now therefore, [my] sons, hearken unto me, And depart not from the words of my mouth. This is what is required to go before our King! (God's Son will take the advice of the Spirit of His Father and will not choose a strange woman who chooses to be dressed up according to her own lusts. The Bride in Revelation 19 is dressed up in the righteous acts of the saints, as ordained in the Word.)

I asked the Father for a verse for this dream and my finger was on Habakkuk 1:5. (In context, we see that the Babylonians will bring into captivity the strange women who pervert justice and truth but they will not believe this for they are blinded by religious spirits. {Hab.1:4} Therefore the law is slacked, and justice doth never go forth; for the wicked doth compass about the righteous; therefore justice goeth forth perverted. {5} Behold ye among the nations, and look, and wonder marvellously; for I am working a work in your days, which ye will not believe though it be told you. {6} For, lo, I raise up the Chaldeans [Babylonians/U.S.], that bitter and hasty nation, that march through the breadth of the earth, to possess dwelling-places that are not theirs.)

I then asked for another Scripture and my finger was on: (Isa.55:4) Behold, I have given him for a witness to the peoples, a leader and commander to the peoples. (The Bride will be submissive to her commander. The Holy Spirit will choose the Bride who pleases Him. {Est.2:8} So it came to pass, when the king's commandment and his decree was heard, and when many maidens were gathered together unto Shushan the palace, to the custody of Hegai, that Esther was taken into the king's house, to the custody of Hegai, keeper of the women. {9} And the maiden pleased him, and she obtained kindness of him; and he speedily gave her her things for purification, with her portions, and the seven maidens [seven attributes of God in 2 Peter 1:5-7] who were meet to be given her out of the king's house: and he removed her and her maidens to the best place of the house of the women.)

All seven attributes may be gained from the King's house through faith. {1Pe.1:2} Grace to you and peace be multiplied in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord; {3} seeing that his divine power hath granted unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that called us by his own glory and virtue; {4} whereby he hath granted unto us his precious and exceeding great promises; that through these ye may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in that world by lust. {5} Yea, and for this very cause adding on your part all diligence in your faith supply virtue; and in [your] virtue knowledge; {6} and in [your] knowledge self-control; and in [your] self-control patience; and in [your] patience godliness; {7} and in [your] godliness brotherly kindness; and in [your] brotherly kindness love. {8} For if these things are yours and abound, they make you to be not idle nor unfruitful unto the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. {9} For he that lacketh these things is blind, seeing only what is near, having forgotten the cleansing from his old sins. {10} Wherefore, brethren, give the more diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never stumble: {11} for thus shall be richly supplied unto you the entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
