Belinda Anderson - 03/29/2015 A few minutes ago, I was standing at the kitchen sink, washing my veils, when I had an open vision. I saw a group of women standing in a circle, facing each other. I noticed that some of the women were not wearing a veil or not submitting to their husbands and, spiritually, Jesus. Then, I watched as the women who were wearing a veil or submitting to their husbands/Jesus, all stepped forward and created their own circle. They were being obedient to the Word: {1Co.11:2}Now I praise you that ye remember me in all things, and hold fast the traditions, even as I delivered them to you. (3) But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God. (4) Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoreth his head. (5) But every woman praying or prophesying with her head unveiled dishonoreth her head; for it is one and the same thing as if she were shaven. They are both called a shame. (6) For if a woman is not veiled, let her also be shorn: (Also, here means ...) but if it is a shame to a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be veiled. Notice the hair is not the commanded veil. (7) For a man indeed ought not to have his head veiled, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man. (8) For the man is not of the woman; but the woman of the man: (9) for neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man: (10) for this cause ought the woman to have a sign of authority on her head, because of the angels. (11) Nevertheless, neither is the woman without the man, nor the man without the woman, in the Lord. (12) For as the woman is of the man, so is the man also by the woman; but all things are of God. (13) Judge ye in yourselves: is it seemly that a woman pray unto God unveiled? (14) Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a dishonor to him? (15) But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering. (Not a veil, which is a different word in Greek. We see here that nature's teaching is the hair but God's teaching here is the veil as a sign of submission to her husband when praying or prophesying.) Personal Testimony Several years ago, I had a woman friend ask me what my secret was between Allen and me, as we appeared to get along so well. I said to her, "Do you really want me to answer that question?" She said back to me, "Yes, I do". I said, "Okay, but remember, you were the one who asked!" I said, "The reason we get along so well is that I don't boss him around and I'm not his mother". Well, as you can just imagine, that didn't go over so well with her! I imagine I saw flames shooting from her eyes and smoke coming out of both her ears. And, needless to say, I didn't see much more of her after that. When I came to the Lord, one of the first things the Lord showed me was the veil for the woman. I went to Allen and showed him the verses in the Bible concerning the matter of veil and he agreed with me that I believed that I needed to wear a veil, according to Scripture. Actually, he told me that he thought it was very respectful of me to do this. This was never a matter of contention between the two of us. Actually, I felt that it brought us closer together, as it showed respect toward my husband. For this vision to be shown to me today, I believe it is telling us that the Lord is not pleased with the women of the Word, whether they be a physical wife or a spiritual wife of the Lord. This appears to be a warning from the Lord to repent of this quickly while there is still time, if there be anyone who is not submitting to their physical/spiritual husband.
