No Bug Spray in the Wilderness

I wanted to share a couple pretty neat bug stories with you. A while back, shortly after listening to David's Wilderness Living Now testimonies, I was presented with a swarm of ants in my kitchen pantry. My first reaction was to spray some chemicals and kill them but then the Lord reminded me of the story that David shared about he and Bob Aicardi praying the prayer of faith and commanding the mole crickets to die in Bob's yard and they did! So remembering this, I put down the chemicals and commanded them to leave in the name of Jesus Christ. I told them they were not welcome in my home and they had to leave at once! Well, I continued to clean up the mess and I looked up to the top shelf and believe it or not there were tons of ants lined up, all in a real straight line, marching right up the wall, to the ceiling, leaving through a crack that I have to assume is where they came from! I was absolutely amazed! I only saw maybe 1 or 2 more ants lingering in the living room later on. I thought maybe they got lost, but I just commanded them to leave and I rebuked Satan for trying to make me doubt and, praise God, I have never seen another ant since!

Not long after that, I became fed up with some roaches that just kept coming back. I really dislike sharing my home with any kind of creepy pests but the roaches literally would make me cry! I was almost mad at God for leading me to the apartment that had such creatures. But the Lord strengthened my faith and showed me to throw out the Raid that I was using and toss the little roach motels that I purchased before learning that I had authority over them. Then I did the same thing that I did with the ants. I commanded them to leave my house in the name of Jesus Christ and told them that they weren't welcome here! I have to admit these guys were a little more stubborn and weren't as obedient as the ants but little by little I noticed less and less! I had to rebuke them several times and I guess the enemy tried to make me waiver in my faith but praise God, He helped me stand strong! It came down to only one or two per day that would linger, probably as a test. But for the next few weeks I stood on the Word and in faith and my apartment is now roach-free! Praise God! Every now and then one would come around and I would just claim power over them and they would leave. I even had a big one go under my rug that I thought for sure would have babies and it would start all over again but I rebuked that thought and commanded it to leave. I never saw him again! The best news is that a few weeks ago I was at the rental office about to pay my rent and a girl that lived on the other side of the complex showed me a letter from management saying that this was the 3rd week in a row that their side needed to be bombed for roaches. They needed to remove all their food and personal belongings from their apartments so they could spray some powerful poison to kill the infestation and, guess what, my side didn't need a drop, thanks to the Lord!

How awesome is our Lord! Thank you Jesus! I also thank God for those teachings because the things David explains and has gone through helps me not to be limited in my walk. I can't say that I would have ever thought to do this stuff if it wasn't for his testimonies!
