My Eyes Are Healed! - UBM [David Eells]

I have a testimony to give of God's grace to me. In January 1997, I became born again in a small home church and continued therein for a few short months before this church disbanded. Unknowingly, I went right into the worldly church -- looking for Jesus and His people, trying many different ones and never staying long.

By God's grace, I came out of the worldly church in January 2008. And in August 2008, the Lord led me to UBM where He is now cleansing the religion out of me! I praise God for His work through your ministry!

My purpose for writing today is to give testimony of God's grace to heal my eyes. I started wearing glasses when I was 10 years old, and that was 45 years ago.

When I was a baby Christian, I prayed and believed God to heal my eyes and He did, but it lasted only four days. Since then, I had prayed many times for the Lord to heal my eyes, but I see now I had no faith to receive.

Two weeks ago, I felt the strength of the Lord rise up in me and I prayed this time in faith, believing, after having learned the truth of faith through UBM. And now I see and no longer need glasses!

Praise God!

I admit there have been some shaky moments, but by the Lord's grace, I keep standing in faith and keep seeing.

I think it was just a week ago that during the live Unleavened Bread Bible Study, that David prayed the prayer of agreement over all who were believing for a healing. This was most helpful for me at the time, and I thank God for you.

Update - 04/17/2009

I wanted to give some more glory to God and update my brethren on my eyes. Through the Lord's grace, I am still standing in faith for the perfection of my vision. Initially, when I first believed, I got rid of all my glasses and contacts and did not look back, and the Lord granted me immediately vision to see to drive my vehicle and to function in the world. And from this place, my vision increases and decreases. And I wish now to testify of the fruit that has come from this, for I have no doubt that perfect vision has been given to me and will be made manifest.

As wonderful as it is to have perfect vision in the natural, even more perfect is to gain in spiritual vision! For me, this is much more to be treasured than anything in the natural! And the joy that comes from believing! All that Jesus is teaching me about faith, which I have discovered is basically the whole Bible, is enabling me to live every moment in the Truth of God's Word. I was so full of religion and the world's ways -- I could not see clearly the way of faith.

Yesterday, the Lord showed me this was the state of my soul found in Romans 10:2 For I bear them witness that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge. For being ignorant of the righteousness of God and seeking to establish their own, they did not submit to the righteousness of God. For Christ is the end of law unto righteousness to every one that believeth.

Every day Jesus teaches me more of faith through His word and the experiences He leads me into. Truly, He is building my faith in Him as a strong tower and it is supernatural!
