A few months ago, I logged in to Facebook and read Brother Garrett Crawford's testimony about how God provided him with a free flat-screen television and a ham. He spoke of how he felt God was showing him a miracle of provision like a fellow brother named Bryce Rapp (a former stockbroker who walks by faith in Christ and sees miraculous provision continually). So after reading his testimony, I posted a comment on his page saying, "If God can provide you with a free television and ham, then let us agree in prayer for me that God will give me a higher-paying job with better hours and a free ham".
So Brother Garrett and I prayed in faith that the Lord would do just that. That night, before going to sleep, I prayed over the situation again very fervently. Well, the next morning I woke up to a phone call in which I was invited to be interviewed for a job that paid much more than I was making and the possibility of a much better schedule. I prayed to God several times during the interviewing process and I told Him that if I got the job and the desired schedule I would post it on Facebook and tell others about His power to provide all of our needs.
Well, God was faithful (as always) and provided what I requested. Now I'm just waiting in faith for that ham and I know that's on the way, too. LOL. John 16:24 Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full. Matthew 18:19-20 Again I say unto you, that if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father who is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. Mark 11:24 Therefore I say unto you, All things whatsoever ye pray and ask for, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. 1 John 5:14-15 Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.
God's Word is true and He has proven this to me over and over and over again. We can put all our trust into what He says in His Word. God is faithful and good to all those who love Him and keep His commandments and walk by faith in Jesus.
