Jesus Defends Us From Accusers

Belinda Anderson - 05/31/2012
(David's notes in red)

I dreamed I was in a courtroom, seated at the defendant's table. Directly in front of me, the judge was seated on the judge's bench (Father God on His throne). Jesus was standing to my right. (He is our defense attorney. {1Jn.2:1} My little children, these things write I unto you that ye may not sin. And if any man sin, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: {2} and he is the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for the whole world. "Advocate" is in Greek, Paracletos, meaning, "called to one's side; i.e., to one's help". This word is used in a court of law as a defense attorney.) Over to the left was Satan, my "accuser" standing a few feet away, holding a black scroll (his list of accusations against me). Satan has been our accuser from the very beginning. (The accuser and his helpers who also accuse are the prosecutors.) I noticed that this scroll had my name on it, but I noticed that he had misspelled my name (my name was misspelled because I don't have his nature; after all, he is "the father of lies".)

(Gen.3:1) Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field which Jehovah God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of any tree of the garden? Satan's first lie was to the woman, representing the Church, from the beginning, and he has successfully continued to this day, as much of the Church has taken on his nature! (1Jn.3:8) he that doeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. To this end was the Son of God manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. In my dream, the defendant's table was on the right and the plaintiff's table was on the left. In man's system, it's the other way around. Isn't that interesting?

I looked up at Jesus and He gave me a reassuring smile, and told me to remember the things we had discussed before we entered the courtroom. (The most important thing the Lord teaches with regard to condemnation through men or of the law is justification, meaning imputed righteousness through faith in the sacrifice of Jesus. {Act.13:39} and by him every one that believeth is justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses. {Rom.3:4} God forbid: yea, let God be found true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy words, And mightest prevail when thou comest into judgment... {24} being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus ... {5:9} Much more then, being now justified by his blood, shall we be saved from the wrath [of God] through him. {Gal.2:16} yet knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, even we believed on Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ, and not by the works of the law: because by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. This is the best defense against illegal condemnation from Satan and his human vessels.)

Jesus also told me not to be intimidated by Satan or his big black scroll. He said to me, "He always does that. He likes to scare people with that black scroll, which makes him look like he's right and has the upper hand". Well, I have to admit, that scroll did look pretty creepy! (Isa.54:17) No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of Jehovah, and their righteousness which is of me, saith Jehovah. (Jos.1:9) Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of good courage; be not affrighted, neither be thou dismayed: for Jehovah thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest. I noticed there was no "jury box" in the courtroom. I leaned over and asked Jesus where the jury was and He said, "The judge is the jury and His decision is final". (Psa.7:11) God is a righteous judge, Yea, a God that hath indignation every day. (Jas.4:12) One only is the lawgiver and judge, even he who is able to save and to destroy: (Psa.50:6) And the heavens shall declare his righteousness; For God is judge himself.

The judge (the Father) called Jesus (my defender) and Satan (my accuser) before the bench and was talking to them. I heard someone behind me whisper my name, so I turned around to see who it was and it was all of my family (my UBM family) who were there to support me. Oh, I was so happy to see them; every one of my family members were there to support me. My oldest brother (brother David), who was representing the entire family, said, "We know you are innocent and we will be here praying for you". I was so touched by their genuine love for me; tears started flowing down my face. (In real life, brother David and the rest of my UBM family have been very good and encouraging to me. They have helped deliver me, correct me and encourage me for the past several years; preparing me to be in the Bride.) (God's true people will defend those unjustly condemned by the accusers.) I told them I loved them, then I turned back around as I heard the bailiff call the courtroom to order. "Order in the court -- God's court" where there is mercy, grace and TRUTH. (1Th.5:11) Wherefore exhort one another, and build each other up, even as also ye do. (1Pe.3:8) Finally, be ye all likeminded, compassionate, loving as brethren, tenderhearted, humbleminded: (9) not rendering evil for evil, or reviling for reviling; but contrariwise blessing; for hereunto were ye called, that ye should inherit a blessing.

The judge instructed Satan to face the court and to read my "indictment" before the court. (God has complete control of the courtroom; Satan couldn't move until God told him he could move.) As Satan began to open the black scroll, he looked at me with his mean, ugly face; he then proceeded to read his long list of accusations against me. There were 18 accusations in total. (I looked up the number 18 and it means "bondage".) Satan was sure he had me (in captivity to his evil nature). When he was finished proclaiming his list of lies, he went back to his place. I glanced up at Jesus out of the corner of my right eye (keep your eye on the prize; focus on Jesus) and He looked very confident and unmoved by the accusations, which was encouraging! (Php.3:14) I press on toward the goal unto the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

Then the judge instructed Satan to call his first witness. The (false) witness took the stand and was seated (I noticed the witness was NOT sworn in; it was obvious why). Then Satan began to question his witness. He said to his witness, "Isn't it true that on the first day of last month, you heard the defendant tell another Christian that God doesn't still heal today?" I thought to myself, I said no such thing. I know better than that, as the Lord healed me a few years ago of a very serious disease (the disease of sin). WOW, what a lie! (1Pe.2:24) who his own self bare our sins in his body upon the tree, that we, having died unto sins, might live unto righteousness; by whose stripes ye were healed.

Then that witness stepped down and the second witness was called to the stand. Satan said to the second witness, "On the second night of the second week of last month, did or did you not see the defendant walk up to a Christian woman and tell her that she needed to pray a certain way?" I said to myself, "That's legalism and I know better than that!" What true believer would tell somebody how they are to pray? Where is he coming up with this stuff? Oh, right, father of LIES! (Gal.5:13) For ye, brethren, were called for freedom; only use not your freedom for an occasion to the flesh, but through love be servants one to another.

Then the third witness was called to the stand. Satan looked at me and this time he had a wide grin on his face and turned back around to the witness. He said, "Tell the court about the time you heard the defendant tell another Christian that once saved is always saved. Oh, that's just absolutely ridiculous, I thought to myself. Scripture clearly teaches us against such a thing. LIES! LIES! LIES!

It is easy in the last days for Satan to find accusers to slander the saints, just as those who accused Jesus, but their judgment is sealed by scripture. {2Ti.3:1} But know this, that in the last days grievous times shall come. {2} For men shall be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, haughty, railers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, {3} without natural affection, implacable, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, no lovers of good, {4} traitors, headstrong, puffed up, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God ... {Psa.109:1} Hold not thy peace, O God of my praise; {2} For the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of deceit have they opened against me: They have spoken unto me with a lying tongue. {3} They have compassed me about also with words of hatred, And fought against me without a cause. {4} For my love they are my adversaries: But I [give myself unto] prayer. {5} And they have rewarded me evil for good, And hatred for my love. {6} Set thou a wicked man over him; And let an adversary stand at his right hand. {7} When he is judged, let him come forth guilty; And let his prayer be turned into sin. {8} Let his days be few; [And] let another take his office. Judas hung himself with his own works ... {20} This is the reward of mine adversaries from Jehovah, And of them that speak evil against my soul. ... {31} For he will stand at the right hand of the needy, To save him from them that judge his soul. {64:1} Hear my voice, O God, in my complaint: Preserve my life from fear of the enemy. {2} Hide me from the secret counsel of evil-doers, From the tumult of the workers of iniquity; {3} Who have whet their tongue like a sword, And have aimed their arrows, even bitter words, {4} That they may shoot in secret places at the perfect: Suddenly do they shoot at him, and fear not. {5} They encourage themselves in an evil purpose; They commune of laying snares privily; They say, Who will see them? {6} They search out iniquities; We have accomplished, [say they], a diligent search: And the inward thought and the heart of every one is deep. {7} But God will shoot at them; With an arrow suddenly shall they be wounded. {8} So they shall be made to stumble, their own tongue being against them: All that see them shall wag the head. {Mat.10:22} And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end, the same shall be saved.

Finally, all the witnesses had testified and Satan my "accuser" went back to his place. Then it was Jesus' turn to speak. He did not cross-examine any of Satan's witnesses. (Jesus doesn't argue with liars; He says, "IT IS WRITTEN".) Jesus was standing the entire time Satan's witnesses were accusing me. (Psa.121:4) Behold, he that keepeth Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. Jesus reached down and gave me a pat on my arm. I happened to notice His right hand; it looked like a Bible. I thought to myself, WOW! I remembered John 1:1 says He IS the Word! Jesus approached the judge (the Father), then He looked over at Satan and said, with a confident smile, "Look at your scroll, Accuser. You have the wrong saint. Her name is not spelled Blinda. (In other words, she is not blind to the truth of the Word.) Her name is spelled Belinda. She has 'el' for 'the one true God' in her name". Satan is going to do his best to blame the saints during the tribulation. He will accuse us (by spirit or men) of not having "God's name" (nature, character and authority) written upon our hearts and minds. (1Sa.12:16) Now therefore stand still and see this great thing, which Jehovah will do before your eyes. (Rom.8:31) What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us? It was awesome just sitting, there resting in the Lord and watching Jesus defend me. (Isa.26:3) Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee; because he trusteth in thee.

He ripped Satan and his false witnesses to shreds (with the SWORD of the Lord). Jesus told them, "Not only do you have the wrong saint, which is obvious to everyone here. Look at her white garments; you can tell she's innocent! She's been washed in the blood of the Lamb!" It was awesome; Jesus was telling everyone present in the courtroom that I was His because He washed me! WOW!!! (1Jn.1:7) but if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanseth us from all sin. (Rev.1:5) and from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loveth us, and loosed us from our sins by his blood. You see, I had already repented and confessed my sins, and "deliverance"IS the children's bread. AMEN! (Joh.8:36) If therefore the Son shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. (Act.10:38) even Jesus of Nazareth, how God anointed him with the Holy Spirit and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. (2Ti.4:18) The Lord will deliver me from every evil work, and will save me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.

When Jesus was done defending me before the judge (Father), He turned and faced me. I could feel His love upon me. Then the judge said, "The defendant please rise. After reviewing all the facts, I find the defendant NOT GUILTY!" I got up and ran to Jesus and took a hold of His right hand that looked like the Bible and praised and worshipped Him. I asked Him if I could go and thank the judge, as well, and He said, "Sure. He would like that". So I humbly approached the judge's bench and thanked the judge (the Father) for being so longsuffering and forgiving toward me. He smiled at me and told me to keep studying the Word; I told him I would and that my family (my UBM family) were a big help to me. He said, "Yes, I know. I'm watching". (2:15) Give diligence to present thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, handling aright the word of truth. (3:16) Every scripture inspired of God is also profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for instruction which is in righteousness. (17) That the man of God may be complete, furnished completely unto every good work.

As I was turning back around to go back to Jesus, all of a sudden Satan threw his black scroll at me from across the room and it was aimed right at my head (my mind or soul). (Satan will never stop trying to take us out. Jesus reached out and caught it right before it hit me. Jesus said, "I was ready for him; he always does that. He's a sore loser". End of dream. (Deu.4:30) When thou art in tribulation, and all these things are come upon thee, in the latter days thou shalt return to Jehovah thy God, and hearken unto his voice...

Satan is going to attack us with a vengeance during the tribulation with his full arsenal of evil (demons and men). He will try to destroy us by keeping us from thinking clearly; causing us to become mixed up and confused in our minds. In other words, Satan is going to try to put us back under the curse and away from God any way he can. We must keep our old man on that cross where Jesus put the curse. Thank you, Jesus. "It is done". (Gal.3:13) Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us; for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: (Joh.19:30) When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up his spirit.

{Rev.12:10} And I heard a great voice in heaven, saying, Now is come the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, who accuseth them before our God day and night.

{Zec.3:1} And he showed me Joshua the high priest (the body of Jesus Christ) standing before the angel of Jehovah, and Satan standing at his right hand to be his adversary (the body of the accuser). {2} And Jehovah said unto Satan, Jehovah rebuke thee, O Satan; yea, Jehovah that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee: is not this a brand plucked out of the fire? {3} Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and was standing before the angel. {4} And he answered and spake unto those that stood before him, saying, Take the filthy garments from off him. And unto him he said, Behold, I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee, and I will clothe thee with rich apparel. {5} And I said, Let them set a clean mitre upon his head. So they set a clean mitre upon his head, and clothed him with garments; and the angel of Jehovah was standing by. {6} And the angel of Jehovah protested unto Joshua, saying, {7} Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: If thou wilt walk in my ways, and if thou wilt keep my charge, then thou also shalt judge my house, and shalt also keep my courts, and I will give thee a place of access among these that stand by.

Be careful to not be unforgiving toward, condemn, criticize, judge, gossip about, slander, rail at, etc., those whom the Lord accounts righteous. Listen to this verse: {Isa.54:17} No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of Jehovah, and their righteousness which is of me, saith Jehovah.
