God Paid Off Our House - UBM [David Eells]

I have been waiting almost two years to tell my testimony. Just under two years ago, we had, through unfortunate circumstances, gotten into about $50,000 of debt. We even had to get cash advances just to make the minimum payment a few times. I wanted to sell some land we owned, but we were offered only $10,000 for it. Then it hit me: my God owns the cattle on 1000 hills. So I prayed and asked the Lord to pay off those debts.

After I prayed, I was as sure that those debts would be paid off as I was sure the sun was going to rise the next day. I quickly decided to throw in there, "Lord, would you pay off my house, too?!" I was so excited and I couldn't wait to share my testimony. About three months later, my husband knew someone, and his brother knew someone else, and they introduced the two guys. A business deal was made, and my husband made a cut of the deal without ever even asking for any money. It was more than enough to pay off all our debts. I am not exaggerating, he did nothing more than introduce these guys.

Then a developer bought up the property surrounding the lot we owned, and the value of it went way up. We were out in the road next to the property one day, and a man drove up to us and asked us if we were going to build a house there, or what we were going to do with it. Someone he knew wanted to buy our land. We never even had to put up a sign, and we found a buyer. He paid more than what we owed on our house. I am amazed that the Lord did this at this time when the developer that bought up the surrounding property has not even gotten the rezoning approved yet. The real estate market is really bad right now with the sub-prime mortgage crisis and all the foreclosures. As of last Friday our house was paid off.

I know that my God can supply all my needs according to His riches and glory.
