Faith + Works Heals Tailbone

Thalia Dowling - 10/20/2011

Note from David: Faith is not faith until it is accompanied by corresponding action. Actions in agreement with the promise that we were healed 2000 years ago manifest healing. {Jas.2:14} What doth it profit, my brethren, if a man say he hath faith, but have not works? can that faith save him? ... {17} Even so faith, if it have not works, is dead in itself. {18} Yea, a man will say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: show me thy faith apart from [thy] works, and I by my works will show thee [my] faith ... {20} But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith apart from works is barren? {21} Was not Abraham our father justified by works, in that he offered up Isaac his son upon the altar? {22} Thou seest that faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect; {23} and the scripture was fulfilled which saith, And Abraham believed God, and it was reckoned unto him for righteousness; and he was called the friend of God. {24} Ye see that by works a man is justified, and not only by faith. {25} And in like manner was not also Rahab the harlot justified by works, in that she received the messengers, and sent them out another way? {26} For as the body apart from the spirit is dead, even so faith apart from works is dead.

Since I see testimonies coming in, I thought I would share my receiving a healing for a broken back. Recently, I slipped on my daughter's kitchen floor. There was water on the tile and my bare feet went right out from under me and I landed on my tailbone. It was excruciatingly painful and I wanted to exercise my faith for my healing that has already been provided for me.

I needed to go back to Hawaii to collect my things and return to live in Oklahoma City to help raise my little grandchildren, whose father is a fallen soldier; only I could not travel with a broken back and I looked online and found that it takes six months to heal a broken tailbone.

After a couple of weeks of not being able to move without great pain, I decided to get up and start my walking regimen again in faith. I did this for about three days but could not go very far because of the pain. Finally, I ventured out even farther but I got too far out and realized I could not make it back to the house because of the pain and I was stuck out three blocks from the house. I asked a neighbor I saw outside if she would be so kind as to give me a lift back to my house after I explained to her about my broken back. She said no!

That is when I realized it was the Lord and me. So I straightened up myself as if I were already healed and walked back home as if I was healed, praising God all the way. By the time I got to my door, the manifestation of my healing was there. No more pain and I am now able to return on Saturday to Hawaii to collect my things, move out of my apartment and move back to Oklahoma City where all my children and grandchildren are. Praise His Holy Name!
