Kaile Hamilton - 03/23/2010 About a month and a half ago, I began to have a shooting pain in my left arm and wrist anytime I moved it. This was especially hard for me since I am left-handed and it was hindering me doing the work that the Lord has called me to do, as well as everyday housework. I just cast down the pain and rebuked any type of injury and the pain would subside for a while. Sadly, the pain returned but it returned with numbness in my arm. The Lord kept reminding me that by His stripes I was healed and, as Galatians 2:20 says, I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ lives in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. So, I pressed through the trial and kept receiving my healing and as it was before, the pain and numbness subsided for a few days. Then, a few days after that, the pain almost became unbearable. Then, I heard Satan say, "You have carpal tunnel syndrome". I immediately cast down that thought, rebuked it and told Satan to "get thee behind me!" This time the pain and the numbness didn't really go away but just seemed to become more constant, almost making it impossible for me to do anything with my dominant hand. My mom and I continued to believe and receive my healing but the Lord put it on my mom's heart to send a prayer request to the elders and prayer team which is included below:
Please agree with Kaile and me that Kaile's left arm (her primary working tool) and wrist be healed and restored, in the name of Jesus. We are not accepting any weakness or pain and so appreciate your agreement with us, in the name of Jesus! Praise the Lord! And thanks to all you elders for praying for her healing! Within that next week following the prayer request, all of the pain and numbness ceased. Praise the Lord! Thank you for all of you who lifted up my arm/wrist to the Lord; it truly has been a great blessing. I can now say that it has been a few weeks since my arm/wrist have been completely healed and have never felt better. Thank you, Lord! The Lord has shown me that even though I believe in His promises and believe that I have received certain the things that I pray and ask for, He sometimes wants us to have others agree with us in prayer, as Jesus spoke in Matthew 18:19: Again I say unto you, that if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father who is in heaven. Through the various trials of faith that the Lord has brought me through, it amazes me how sometimes for a complete healing and/or restoration it is for us to call other saints to pray in agreement. So, I would encourage any of you who are believing for a certain thing to come to pass, don't hesitate to ask other saints to pray in agreement with you. For the supplication of a righteous man availeth much in its working (Jas.5:16).
