Wilderness Living - Part 2Hello brethren, God bless you! We've been studying the wilderness; what's the advantage, what's the purpose. We discovered that the firstfruits of God, go out into their wilderness ahead of the greater body of Christ so to speak, and so we've been discovering and examining what this wilderness could mean to us in our day. And one thing we have discovered, is that it is a place of faith and weakness; it's a place where we live by faith, but are weak to be our own saviors so to speak. In other words, it's a salvation not by works, but by faith in the Lord and the righteous shall live by faith. When we learn to walk by faith, we are walking in the wilderness, because our methods change from that of the world, to those of God and Jesus Christ. I'm going to start out today in Isaiah Chapter 43. Some years ago when the Lord started leading me in the wilderness, He caused my bible to open literally, for a couple of months. My bible would open up to Isaiah 43, just supernaturally. It didn't do that before that, and it didn't do it after that; the Lord just wanted me to get a point there. In Isaiah Chapter 43 and Verse 14, Isaiah says, "Thus saith Jehovah, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: For your sake I have sent to Babylon, and I will bring down all of them as fugitives, even the Chaldeans, in the ships of their rejoicing. This was a time when God was promising deliverance to His people who were in bondage in Babylon. Well basically folks, that's where God's people are, they are in bondage in Babylon. They've eitther got legences with the world, because the world is one form of Babylon, right! All nations came from Babel, and even their Babylonish religion was spread all over the earth. The false virgin birth, Samarimas, Nimrod, so on and so forth, was spread all over the earth. And so God's people are very much in this day, in bondage in two ways: secular Babylon and religious Babylon. God is calling us out of their way
