Grace to Walk in the Word\#1\eftab720irnatural\eftab720irnaturalI would like to share something with you from Psalm 119. You know Psalm 119 is the longest chapter in the Bible, which is kind of interesting because it focuses on really the most important thing in the Bible, and that is prayers in relationship to walking in obedience to the Word of God. It\'92s a very strange chapter in that what appears to be subtitles appears to be the Hebrew alphabet or actually they call it the aleph beth. Aleph beth being the first two letters of their alphabet which is the aleph and the beth which is the first subtitle here in Psalm 119 is the aleph and then beth is the second and as you go on down the rest of their letters of their aleph beth are used with 8 verses following each letter and the beginning of each 8 verses uses the letter that is being spoken or as being used as a subtitle there. It is kind of interesting how God designed this thing you know setting it out, laying it out in this way. Like I said the beginning letter in each verse uses that letter and also as most of you know the gem atria is made up of the letters which represent numbers so you are looking at the letters here that represent numbers too. So Psalm 119 I think is most important in pointing us to grace to learn how to get Gods cooperation thru prayer to cause us to be someone that we are not normally, naturally not and to cause us to receive His grace to pray because these are prayers you know when you read down thru here you will see prayer after prayer after prayer here or meditations upon God and his word sometimes spoken of as the law.
