Are The Odds Against You? Good!Chapter 6God bless you saints! Thank you for joining us today. Praise be to God! Father, in the Name of Jesus, we thank You so much Lord for your mercy towards us. We thank You for Your grace. We thank You Lord for opening our understanding today Lord. We thank You Lord that we have the gift of Jesus Christ to help us to understand the Word of God, and to retain the Word of God, and to love the Word of God. Lord. We just ask You to open it up to us some today Lord. Please encourage our hearts today Lord in Jesus' Name. Thank You so much Father. Hallelujah! Thank You Lord! I'm going to go back and take up where we left off last time. Are the odds against you? That's good! We've been discovering that from a worldly point of view, when the odds seem to be against you, they're in your favor in the Kingdom. Because God's power is made perfect in weakness. We are constantly put in positions by God to be weak, so that God can be our only Savior. And, so we will turn our faith totally upon Him, and not on to anything of this world. "Cursed is the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from The Lord" (Jer. 17:5). "But my righteous one shall live by faith: And if he shrink back, my soul hath no pleasure in him" (Heb. 10:38). So, we find that over, and over, and over in the Scriptures, the Lord is doing this. And yet, in our natural life when we see what appears to be the "odds stacking against us," we begin to lose faith. And yet, we are seeing from the Scriptures, this is the time when God will do a miracle. He wants to be your provider. I want to start in Judges Chapter 6. I mentioned this chapter briefly before in this series, but I want to look at it a little closer. (1) And the children of Israel did that which was evil in the sight of The Lord: and The Lord delivered them into the hand of Midian seven years. Wow! This is something that is mentioned over and over, and over in the Scriptures. It's the
