The Lord Our Healer - UBM [David Eells]

On July 3,2007, our daughter, Sarah,and seven-year-old granddaughter, Diamond, were involved in a terrible car accident. The car they were in was broadsided by a large van. Diamond took the full impact of the crash, trapped and crushed in the twisted wreckage for almost an hour.

Sarah was cutand bruised an had a cracked pelvis; otherwise ok. But Diamond, (according to their report) was not well. When we arrived at the hospital the chaplain was called to talk to us before they would tell us anything about Diamond's condition.

They said she was in a deep coma and she had brain damageand paralysis. If she lived (???) she wouldn't be able to talk or walk again ... that's IF she lived. The chaplain wanted to give her her last rites. I told her that we wouldn't be needing her services for that!A couple days later the hospital requested that another chaplain come and give last rites for Diamond. Well, I ran him off too. I told him that Diamond was healed an would be going home soon! Well, that didn't give me any favors from the nursing staff. You see, we had already laid hands on her for healing. It was finished --the prayer of faith WILL heal the sick (Isa 53). Whose report will you believe? The hospital's or God's?I took God's report to be true.

August 26, 2007
54 days after the wreck Diamond was seated next to us for praise and worship at our local assembly. On October 1, 2007 Diamond returned to school. Sarah returned to work within three weeks. They told her it would be six months before she could do that (???) Whose report did she believe?

Another Praise Report, June 2007
My wife has had knee problems for over 40 years. One day we were sitting in the back yard and she asked me to lay hands on her knees so that Jesus would heal them ... Praise Jesus ... so I did. Did she feel anything? Nope! But she knew that God had heard our prayers. Later that night when she laid down to go to sleep the Holy Spirit came down and totally and wonderfully healed both her knees. She said as she laid in bed it felt like supernatural hands inside her knees working and repairing the damage. Total restoration. Praise Jesus!

Another Praise Report, November 2007
A few weeks ago I got out of bed to prepare for work but when I tried to stand up, the pain in my back was so bad all I could do was fall on my knees an pray. After a time, I just confessed that I was healed and I was going to work. I did the best I could to drag myself around the house and out to the car. I started the 40 minute drive to work. The pain got worse! By His Stripes I AM HEALED ... this I knew in my heart. Within 20 minutes after leaving the house I was completely healed. Ps 103: Who heals all my diseases... Bless the Lord. Amen! Praise Jesus!

Before I close, I would like to share this manna with you. This was given to my dear Brother Dick S. a few weeks ago and I say amen to what the Holy Spirit has given.

Will He find faith on the earth?

Luke 18:8 Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth? Satan has attacked the church to the extent that faith is hard to find. He has the denominations where little faith can be found and now the megachurches that teach easy living with no mention of sin -- just believe in yourself -- you deserve to be happy. So he has cheapened the atonement to the point that people believe they are saved without any sacrifice (obedience) and holiness is what is needed.

Next comes his attack on the other portion of the atonement -- divine healing. He says that God uses doctors and heals through them. God doesn't use man for salvation only to spread the word but the saving is entirely the providence of God with no use of man. Why do we think that the healing would be any different? But Satan has established His temples, i.e. hospitals, clinics, etc., so that his gods and goddesses can practice their occultist arts: dismemberment, abortions; the goddesses (nurses) pharmakeia and receive worship from their patients. They even adopt the names of the various denominations: Lutheran, Methodist, etc. Anyone with an ounce of discernment knows that demons inhabit those places and yet we have Christians who turn their back on God for healing and then give God the credit for something He has no part of. The really sad thing is that Christians don't want to hear that God will heal them and that we should trust Him and only Him. Acts 28:27 For the heart of this people is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes have they closed; lest they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them. 2 Timothy 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

The one thing that displeased The Lord with His people Israel was when they established false gods and worshipped them instead of their heavenly Father who had demonstrated time after time that He is and was faithful to supply all their needs. He promised them healing and all the benefits if they would obey and believe in Him. And yet they turned to other gods, thus inflicting the wrath of God on them. Are we any different?. We turn to the arm of the flesh, a direct violation of God's Word. Jeremiah 17:5 Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD. Oh, if we could only grasp the terrible price our Lord paid for our sin. How it must hurt Him all over again when His children won't believe His tried and true promises. We've been granted the privilege of being grafted in because of His displeasure of His people Israel and we act the same as they did. Does history of the old teach us nothing?
